Active across North America with a global buyer and seller network

Swinton Partners works exclusively on the buy side — sourcing, vetting, and negotiating rubber and silicone processing equipment, blow mold machinery, and automation assets across every category of industrial production equipment, so manufacturers get the exact asset they need at a number they can defend.

The name Swinton Partners reflects the way this business was built — as a genuine partnership with the manufacturers we represent, not a transaction-volume operation looking for the next deal. The sourcing-agent model is a deliberate choice. It means we carry no inventory to push, no seller relationship to protect, and no incentive that points anywhere other than toward the client's best outcome. That structural independence is the thing we guard most carefully, because the moment a sourcing agent starts thinking like a dealer, the buyer loses the one advantage they hired us to create. The people behind Swinton Partners came to this work through production floors, not finance desks. We understand how a blow mold line runs, what a rubber mixing operation actually demands from its equipment, and what distinguishes a well-maintained automation cell from one that photographs well and underperforms immediately. That knowledge is what makes the vetting credible and the negotiation effective. We operate across North America and draw on an active global buyer network, which means the search never stops at the nearest available machine. It stops when the right one is found.

Swinton Partners is organized entirely around the buyer's problem. Most equipment changes hands with the seller holding every advantage — they know the machine's history, they know who else has looked at it, and they know which number they can walk away from. Swinton Partners exists to close that gap. Our mandate is to represent the acquiring side: to find the asset that matches a manufacturer's specification, evaluate it honestly, and negotiate from a position of real market knowledge rather than optimism. That discipline begins with sourcing. A client brings us a capability requirement — a rubber compounding line, a specific tonnage of blow mold capacity, an automation cell sized for a particular throughput — and we go find it. We work every channel: dealer inventory, private seller networks, plant closures, estate situations, and our active global buyer network that generates leads no listing service will ever surface. Every candidate gets vetted before it reaches the client. We examine maintenance records, production history, and mechanical condition, and we benchmark the asking price against what comparable equipment has actually transacted for — not what it is listed at. When the right machine surfaces, we negotiate the acquisition on the client's behalf. That means outright purchases where speed and certainty are the priority, and structured consignment arrangements where a phased transfer makes more operational sense. We also conduct and interpret appraisals and valuations — orderly liquidation value, fair market value, forced sale value — so the number on the offer letter reflects reality rather than a seller's best case. Those same appraisal capabilities extend to auction and liquidation situations, where a client needs to understand asset values before bidding into a competitive process. The scope of equipment we source is deliberately broad. Beyond our lead disciplines in rubber and silicone processing, blow mold systems, and automation and auxiliary machinery, Swinton Partners sources rotational mold equipment, precision grinding machinery, injection molding presses, Swiss turning centers, EDM cells, die cast equipment, tool and die assets, thermoform lines, molds and tooling inventories, CNC machining centers, extruders and extrusion systems, metal stamping lines, and fabrication equipment across every configuration. No category on a production floor is outside our scope. When a transaction extends beyond individual assets to the operating entity itself, Swinton Partners manages complete business sales and turnkey facility sales. We handle the contracts, real estate, and M&E as a single coordinated transaction — one point of accountability rather than three separate parties pulling toward different outcomes. Whether the engagement is a targeted single-machine search or a complete facility acquisition, the operating principle is identical: the client's capital should move toward the right asset at the right number, not the nearest available one.
